The Niche ratings for CSArts just recently went public, and staff and students are excited about the results. Upon hearing the news, we are on top of the list!
Running off from last year, we’ve maintained the #1 best charter high school in California, and on top of that we’ve got the #4 best charter high school in all of America. Lastly, 2nd best public high school for the arts in America and the 3rd best public high school in California. So sure, that’s what the ratings say, but the question is, what do our students think of the school?
CSArts student Senior Kat Bartholomaus praises the wholesome and welcoming community. “I’ve been here all four years, the staff is incredibly inviting, the other students are really outgoing and there isn’t really any bullying,” she says. “And in the case that there is, the staff handles it really well, one time something happened and then they confronted the situation and solved the conflict within a day.”
Bartholomaus says, “The academics here really do prepare you well for college, they’re engaging and offer a rigorous dedication.” According to anonymous students, the environment as a whole is just overall “peaceful” and “a fun place to be”. The majority of the students just really seem to feel at home.
